Pharmacist Joydeb Kundu beaten by a doctor Ravi Kumar in NRSMC Hospital, Kolkata
Recently, an on-duty pharmacist, Joydeb Kundu has been attacked and beaten by a junior doctor Dr. Ravi Kumar at Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata. The pharmacist denied to provide the Insulin to the doctor without prescription. As per the Indian Pharmacy Act, 1948 the registered pharmacist can provide the medication only upon the showcase of an authenticate prescription of a registered medical practitioner. There are various schedules such as schedule-H, C, X, and others, every schedule need special instructions and requirements.

Pharmacist Joydeb Kundu is a govt. hospital pharmacist of Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College & Hospital in kolkata. Dr. Ravi Kumar ia also a doctor of that particular place. This is a shameful act, which shows the lack of moral values.
PHARMACIST WANT JUSTICE
All the pharmacist associations of West bengal and other states, protest for the brutal harassment. Pharmacists want the justice for the on duty pharmacist Joydeb Kundu.
